Wikipedia
芸人（げいにん）とは、なんらかの技芸や芸能の道に通じている人、または身に備わった技芸や芸能をもって職業とする人のことを指す。また、分野に関わらず、特に優れた技術を持っている場合に、その技術を褒め称える意味において芸人と呼ぶことがある。
近年はテレビなどの影響により、芸人という職そのものが「お笑いタレント」のみであるという間違った使われ方が多い。
かつては俳優や舞踊家を、さらに昔は碁打ちや将棋指しを芸人と呼ぶ場合もあったが、現代においてはあまり使われなくなってきている。
江戸時代では芸人は芸を披露することで関所を手形なしで通ることができた。

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.
