  • Wench, an historical British old-English term for a lower class woman and/or promiscuous woman. Also in the 19th and early 20th centuries a derogatory term for an African-American woman, the male counterpart being Buck.
  • Wenche, a popular female first name in some central European countries, especially Germany and Austria. The name is also spelled Venke, Wenke, Venche, Wencke, Vence or Vencke.

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.
