Gågate er en gate i en by som primært er innrettet til gående, og hvor biltraffikk er forbudt i butikkenes åpningstid, dog som regel med unntagelse av varelevering. De to nok mest kjente eksempler er Strøget i København og Strøget i Århus – andre er Kongensgade i Odense og Kordilgade i Kalundborg.
Danmarks første gågate var Houmeden i Randers[1], som fikk gågatestatus i 1963. Året tidligere, 17. november 1962, var Strøget i København på forsøksbasis blitt endret til gågate, men denne status først ble gjort permanent i 1964.
I Sverige ble den første gågate Kullagatan i Helsingborg i 1961. I Norge er Karl Johans gate mest kjent.

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.
