1. Ce qui est propre ou particulier à quelqu'un ou à quelque chose. La recherche de la vérité est un attribut distinctif de l'homme.

C'est un attribut du sage de.... La fluidité, la dureté, la mollesse, le mouvement et le repos se pouvant séparer de la matière, il s'ensuit que tous ces attributs ne lui sont point essentiels (MALEBRANCHE Rech. de la vér. III, 3)

2. Terme de théologie, qui se dit de toutes les qualités et perfections que l'on connaît être en Dieu et qui sont de sa propre essence, comme la justice, la sagesse. Les attributs divins.

3. En termes de logique et de grammaire, ce qui se nie ou s'affirme du sujet de la proposition. Dans cette proposition : tout homme est mortel, mortel est l'attribut.

4. En termes d'histoire naturelle, ce qui est permanent et essentiel dans une espèce, dans un individu ou dans une de ses parties.

Lettris

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.
