Die Westfeste (vom mittelhochdeutsch: westlicher Himmel) ist eine veraltete dichterische Bezeichnung Amerikas. Die Feste – die alte Bezeichnung für eine Festung oder befestigte Stadt, aber auch literarisch für Himmel bzw. Firmament. Ihr Pendant ist die Ostfeste. In der Geografie war der Begriff früher gebräuchlich und schloss dann auch noch die Antarktis mit ein, da die antarktische Halbinsel bis nah an die Südspitze Südamerikas heranreicht.
Es steht für das von Europa westlich befindliche letzte feste Land (Übersee) vor dem riesigen Stillen Ozean, der etwas mehr als ein Drittel der Erdkugel bedeckt.
Fälschlicherweise wird der Begriff auch synonym für den Westwall verwendet.
