Négro est un mot qui veut dire « couleur noire » ou « personne de couleur noire ». Pour cette dernière définition, il s'agit d'un injure raciste en droit pénal français.

Le mot espagnol negro, signifiant « noir », a pu être employé dans plusieurs langues, dont la langue anglaise. Dans la langue française, il a été traduit par le mot « nègre » (qui donne au féminin « négresse »), qui a été couramment employé jusqu'au milieu du XXe siècle pour désigner les Noirs. Ce terme a pris dans de nombreuses langues, comme le français et l'anglais, une acception insultante, et a progressivement cessé d'être utilisé dans le langage courant.

Lettris is a curious tetris-clone game where all the bricks have the same square shape but different content. Each square carries a letter. To make squares disappear and save space for other squares you have to assemble English words (left, right, up, down) from the falling squares.
