Een collectivum (ook wel collectief of verzamelnaam - mv: collectiva) is een zelfstandig naamwoord dat, hoewel het enkelvoud is, een veelheid van bijeenhorende dingen of zaken aangeeft.
In de gesproken taal en de geschreven taal wordt ten onrechte bij collectiva vaak het bezittelijk voornaamwoord haar gebruikt. Dit is een relict uit het verleden. Het wordt als tegenwoordig als fout (hypercorrectie) aangemerkt bij het-woorden: bij het-woorden hoort het bezittelijk voornaamwoord zijn.
